The Hypnotist taught at the Santa School where Homer was trained. In the Santa School he actually does not use hypnosis, but rather he actually teaches the wanna-be Santas. He later reappeared in Homer at the Bat, where he incorrectly hypnotises Roger Clemens into thinking he is a chicken. When Mr. Burns threatened to report him he simply hypnotised him into believing he did a good job.
