Üter Zörker, voiced by Russi Taylor, is the overweight German foreign exchange student, He Lives in Germany and sometimes in Springfield, with odd habits such as offering his already-licked lollipops to others as a sign of friendship, and eating marzipan candies fortified with iodine.

Hobbies

He is a player on the Kwik-E-Mart Gougers Peewee Hockey League Team. He also enjoys flirting with Lisa Simpson

Disappearance

He was left behind on the American Civil War field trip. Although a joke was made of Üter's disappearance in Guess Who's Coming to Criticize Dinner?, with his parents asking Skinner where their missing son was, he has since reappeared, although in 24 Minutes he is seen stuck in a cobweb in the school airvents. He is also eaten in another episode.

Other Versions

In the German version of the show Üter is an exchange student from Switzerland and his name is "Uter".

Family

He has two parents and his uncle is a proud owner of a bubblegum-factory in Düsseldorf (respectively Basel in the German version).

Name

Contrary to the common English people that Üter is a Swiss name, it is probably a misconstruction of the common German name Günther.

Model for Character

He most likely based on Augustus Gloop, the gluttonous German boy from the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Rolad Dahl and it's two film adaptations. His Favorite catchphrase is "Don't make me run, I'm full of chocolate!"
