The Turkish captain is the captain of a Turkish freighter, the Star of Ankara.

History

When Bart and Lisa crashed an RV onto the ship, Marge and Homer tried to get the captain to steer the ship back to the docks. The captain initially refused, until Marge offered him 300 cans of Budget Club mushroom soup, saying that he could make a tuna casserole that was small on price but big on flavor. The captain then piloted the ship back to the docks, and everyone onboard was eating casserole and having fun.
