Lisa was impressed by the emotional depth of a letter written by Moe and decides to write a report about him. Along with her father and Moe, the three go to Regent Hotel where Moe lives. Homer is surprised by the fact that he lives in a hotel and says "Just like Eloise", to which the homeless woman responds.

Behind the Laughter

Homer was referring to Eloise from Eloise at the Plaza, a film about a six-year-old girl who lives at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
