Brenda's friend is an unnamed character in the movie From Homemaker to Homeless.
History
After Brenda's husband dies, Brenda and her children are forced to live on the streets because Brenda was unable to pay off her husband's debts, since he had no life insurance.
One month later, when Brenda is seen on the street, an old friend of hers walks up and, recognizing Brenda, asks what happened to all her wealth. Brenda told the woman that it was gone, just like her sanity.
