History
When the Simpsons family did a tour of the Springfield Nature Preserve they met Clay when he crashed his car. Bart asked if he could take a ride in his car and after Marge said it wouldn't do any harm he took a ride with him on a time trial race which determined his pole position.
In the car Clay said that he sometimes lets his wife drive, who was breastfedding their child in the car at the time. After the race Clay gave free race tickets to the Simpsons which they used.
