Dr. Tad Winslow is a character in It Never Ends, formerly played by a man with black hair before Moe Szyslak took over the role.

History

Dr. Tad Winslow had revived Cleopatra, a 5000-year old mummy and planned to skydrive with Contessa when he dreams he died.

Behind the scenes of the show

Moe sought the role of Dr. Tad Winslow when he was younger, but was rejected as he was too ugly. After the producers got tired of the man who played Dr. Winslow, they met Moe and gave him the role as Dr. Winslow and fired the older guy. After Moe secretly read the script for the next few episodes, he realized that his character would be killed, and along with Homer he revealed on live TV a year's worth of storylines. He then was then told that his character only died in a dream.
