Slade Farleyborough is Jim's father, and the former patriarch of the Farleyborough family. He is a dirty old man whose excessively perverted behavior finally caused his much younger wife Yvonne to divorce him. It is unknown which parent received custody of Jim.

Biography
Slade was born in the small-town of [wikipedia:Winchester, Indiana|Winchester, Indiana] to Grandpa Billy Jackson and the town stripper. Apparently, it was his lack of legitimacy that soured him on life. In college he became a youth revolutionary, even buggering Pete Seeger himself. Nowadays he is a cheap psychologist who operates on a local radio station right after Latino Larry's Lousy Latin Music Show (NOT EVEN LEGAL). He married Yvonne in 1975 some years after having Jim, but she left him after she realized what a perverted fock he was.
Personality
Slade is a sexist, promiscuous, stupid slob who has a claim to have more social diseases than any other person in South Denverville, Colorado. He is frequently seen jerking off, which is represented by a hand in his pants the strange noise 'fap', which has now become a slang term for the act. He is known to [wikipedia:LUAGHLUAGHLUAGH|smoke his son's penis] and abuse his wife and son, as well as spanking random pretty girls (and occasionally guys) he sees around town. He has been in jail on many occasions. Erwin McCobb was apparently molested by him on one occasion.
Religious Beliefs
Slade belongs to no organized religion, although he believes in God and practises meditation. Like the show's creater and most other characters, Slade is probably a New Ager.

Yvonne
Yvonne Rodriguez Farleyborough is Slade's first, and to date, only wife. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico where she was indoctrinated with chauvinistic morakl values and taught to be a subservient housewife. After having a kid with and then marrying Slade, she found out what bastards men are and divorced him in 1979. Both parties apparently despise each other.
Peggy Travis
Peggy Travis was a girl who worked as an intern on the KBDS radio station, who had a crush on Slade, mostly because of his money. This did not last long, as she could only take so much of his ruthless behavior.
Jenny Greensboro
Red Greensboro's hot daughter Jenny Greensboro has been a frequent object of lust by Slade.
