The Communist Party Recruiter was an unnamed member of the Springfield Communist Party.
On what many Springfieldians refer to as "Tomato Day", he goes on the field at the Springfield War Memorial Stadium to explain the political goals of his party and try and recruit new member. However, he is booed and thrown tomatoes at from all sides before he can even begin his speech. Still, at one point he remarks that this is at least better than "Dart Day".
