Yum-Yum Fish are a type of fish that Marge describes as the most delicious fish in the Ocean. They are the primary source of income of the island of Barnacle Bay.

History[edit]

The Simpsons visited the island and discovered it to be desolate because they had over fished and driven all the Yum-Yum Fish away. Homer accidentally burned down the boardwalk and as punishment he was forced to work off the debt as a member of the crew of The Rotting Pelican. At first the crew was unsuccessful but one night Homer accidentally beer battered the hooks and as a result the crew caught plenty of Yum-Yum Fish.

However, the crew were caught in a storm and their boat sunk. In the end, Lisa convinced the people of Barnacle Bay that over fishing is wrong, so the citizens turned to logging.
