JJ Gruff is a newspaper editor for the Springfield Shopper.

History[edit]

Marge worked for him as a journalist. He didn't like Marge's articles on new parenting information and told her to get a new nightlife story or he'd replace Marge with Booberella. When Marge went back to him with a story about Bart ruining an art gallery, he fired Marge because they lost all their art advertising due to Bart.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

JJ Gruff is a parody of J. Jonah Jameson from Marvel Comics. He was voiced by J.K. Simmons who played Jameson in Spider-Man and its sequels.
