Cyclops captured Odysseus and his friends and tied them around a pole. After he smeared them with grill oil, he said that he is going to eat them because he feels bad about himself. He then ate Professor Frink. After he finished eating Frink, Odysseus and his men jumped so the pole ended up in Cyclops' only eye. He then started screaming, saying that he is a freak. Odysseus and his friends then managed to escape, and the Cyclops yelled to them that he will not eat them, he only needs combing and some wiping.[2]
