Lionel Richie is a famous singer who sings on Private Jets. He was hired by Mr. Burns to sing for Homer.

History

He sings a song about Beer to Homer on his request and then makes Beer the only lyric being repeated constantly until Homer forgets the words to the song. He is later on the other private jet that Homer hires that crashes and he has troubles in being rescued as he refuses to let go of his awards, which weight him down. He likes to rub his success into other people's faces too and tells the pilot of the helicopter to let go of his awards, as he has none.[1]

Lionel Richie later appeared in Moe's Tavern while the town danced to "All Night Long (All Night)".[2]
