Seperation with Apu
In “The Sweetest Apu,” Apu has an affair with a Squishee lady. After Homer discovers this, he and Marge reveal their discovery to Apu, who eventually caves into the guilt and vows to apologize to Manjula. Manjula, however, already knows and kicks Apu out of the house. With some help from the Simpson family, she eventually agrees to give Apu another chance after he completes an often-vengeful list of grueling tasks fashioned by Manjula. Since then, their relationship has been strained, with the couple been seen attending marriage counseling.
