The seat filler is a person who sat in Sir Ridley Scott's seat at the Oscars.
History
After the Oscars, Ricky Gervais goes to him, thinking he is Sir Ridley and become all emotional trying to get into his next film. The seat filler listens to him then reveals that he is actually a seat filler.
