He was announced as the referee and a kid ran up to hug him. He, however, said he was legally unable to hug the kid. Later, he annoyed Homer after he was cheating the hunt for Maggie. He and Homer then got into a fight which resulted in Homer smashing through a window, but not before ripping off at least one of his ears.
