His given name is Corky, but also has been referred to as James by Nelson.

He can often be seen hanging around Nelson, Kearney, and Dolph, and he is generally acknowledged as the leader of this clique.

He enjoys intimidating his schoolmates and shoplifting.
Religion
Despite his reputation as a bully and delinquent, it is significant that it is sometimes hinted that Jimbo is in fact Christian, with strong moral standards.

Several references are made to his mother, called Carol, being a prostitute, who makes excuses about going to the bank, so that she can pick up clients. She sometimes walks around topless, which impresses Jimbo's friends.
