Homer's Spirit Guide is a talking coyote that Homer meets in a dream. After following the tortoise, he finds a pyramidal structure which then grows and he has to climb it. He sees a face in the sky appear out of the moon and a planet and then it manifests. The Spirit Guide tells Homer to find his soul mate. Homer then wakes up.
Later on, Homer hears his voice again telling Homer that he can't tell him any more information as it is only his memory.
