The Communist Party Recruiter was an unnamed member of the Springfield Communist Party.

History[edit]

On what many Springfieldians referred to as "Tomato Day," he went on the field at the Springfield War Memorial Stadium during an Isotopes game to explain the political goals of his party and try and recruit new members. However, he was resoundingly booed, and the crowd pelted him with tomatoes, throwing them from all directions, before he could even begin his speech. Still, at one point he remarked that it was at least better than "Dart Day."
