Marge and Lisa saw Tango de La Muerte at the movie theater in Springfield Mall. Lisa became entranced by a character named "Lisabella," a plain and bookish woman who was revealed to be beautiful when she was chosen to be the male lead's dance partner. Lisabella said that she had only read about dancing in books. The male lead threw away her book, she lost her glasses, let her long hair down from its bun, and revealed cleavage. In the contest, the male lead danced the Tango de la Muerte with Lisabella. At the end, he said she was now carrying his child. She asked how, and he said it was the mystery of the dance.
