The boat salesman is a suave salesman who sold Homer the Something's Fishy.
History
When Homer was walking Maggie along the pier, he met the boat salesman who could see that Homer wanted a boat. After some negotiating, he sold Homer the Something's Fishy, throwing in a free captain's hat and a pin for a defunct yacht club. He then went home to his wife, where they spoke about getting idiots to buy things.
After the Something's Fishy broke down and sunk, Homer had to get it repaired. However, the costs were too high for Homer. The boat salesman then told Homer in a thought bubble that he had to get his friends to help pay for the boat.
After the Something's Fishy sunk again, Homer demanded a refund from the boat salesman. He refused, saying that his business ended at "kaching". He then sold Homer his jacket for $50. The boat salesman then said he was also smuggling meth inside bicycle tires and gave Nelson a free bike, with drugs in the tires, and told him to get it to Mexico by tomorrow.
