Senator Whinergirl was a presidential candidate for the Democrats in 2008.
History
He participated in a debate at Springfield Elementary School. He spoke about how the top fifth of the country was consuming 60% of the nation's resources, whilst the bottom two fifths were consuming 1/8th of the country's resources, hence his campaign slogan "end quintile disparity". Lisa called him out on it, and then Kent Brockman thanked him, getting his name wrong.
Later, he went to visit the Simpson house when they were undecided on who to pick in the election.
