Cookie is the rancher that The Simpsons met at the Lazy I Ranch in Dude, Where's My Ranch?. He died when the Simpsons were leaving the Ranch. Marge Simpson comments "You're telling Me!" and points to his grave stone. In The Simpsons: One Step Beyond Forever it is showing yet again that he died in the dedication section of the book rather than Snowball's regular dedication.

Cookie was a good friend to Simpsons. He invited them to dinner and lived with them. At one point Lisa cries to her cabin, and goes in bed to see Bart there. When she goes on the one above her, Cookie is there. Cookie is also seen Shooting a chicken. He has tied it up to a stump and points the gun at it commenting, "Free range my Ass!"
