Pippi Longstocking was a girl who was first seen when she tried to convince Lisa to enter the library to read one of her own books, Pippi in the South Seas.

Her name was referenced again where the barber store where Lisa gets a haircut is named "Snippy Longstockings".[1]

Behind the laughter

Pippi Longstocking is a fictional character in a series of children's books written by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. Pippi in the South Seas is a real book and the third one in which Pippi appears.
