The Supporting guy is an unnamed man who was supportive of Homer's efforts to improve safety around Springfield.
History
He spoke breifly at a rally outside the power plant, where Homer was leading a group in protest against the lax safety standards at the plant. He spoke quite possitively of Homer and was very supportive of him and his efforts.[1]
He is seen to be part of the PTA and is seen around Springfield Elementary School, implying he has children there.[2]
