Gladys Marylebone was a student at High School at the same time as Mr. Burns.
History
At his 98th High School reunion on Capital City Radisson, Mr. Burns met Gladys Marylebone in the elevator. When Mr. Burns understood that only he and Gladys were alive he supposes that's why they've put their reunion in an elevator. Burns thought that was depressing enough and left her. After Bart was rescued from being eating by the pygmys, he met Gladys in his mansion and told Bart that Gladys and he had a hundred and two years of lost time to make up for.
