Character Information
|
Scoey is a character that appears in a McBain movie. He is an elderly cop who is two days from retirement and his daughter Suzie is about to graduate from college. Following his retirment, he and his wife plan to sail the world in a boat called the "The Live-4-Ever".
However, during an evening at a Sloppy Joe's diner, a hitman, hired by Mendoza, posed as a waiter and attempted to gun down McBain. The hitman missed and Scoey took the bullets. McBain attempts to stop the assassin by shooting at him, but the assassin manages to get away by crashing though a window on a motorcycle. As Scoey dies in his arms, McBain becomes more determined than ever to put an end to Mendoza's reign of terror.
Scoey, presumably the actor who plays the character, also appears as the musical director in the talk show Up Late with McBain, hosted by Rainier Wolfcastle.[1]
