Roger Meyers, Sr. is the founder of I&S Studios which produce Itchy & Scratchy cartoons. Roger Meyers, Jr. is his son who took over the company upon his death. Their surname has been spelt both "Meyers" and "Myers". An instance of this is "Itchy & Scratchy & Marge", in which both forms appear. His first full cartoon was Steamboat Itchy, in 1928.
