Edward the Penitent was a television show that Troy McClure advertised during the Public Television Telethon. It revolved around Edward seeking forgiveness from an unforgiving Pope. While on his knees saying, "I'm really, really sorry," the Pope replied, "I'm afraid sorry doesn't cut it with this pope."
