Scoey is the leader band on the late show TV talk show Up Late with McBain hosted by Rainier Wolfcastle.
History[edit]
Instead of his real name, Rainier Wolfcastle used the name of his famous action movies character McBain. McBain's fictional long-time partner was named Scoey and played by the actor who is now the band leader and Rainier Wolfcastlle just called him by the character's name instead of the actor's.
While hosting his show, McBain said that he liked his outfit because it made him to look like a homosexual, which caused the audience to boo him.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
McBain and Scoey were parodying the relationship between Jay Leno, who toke hosting The Tonight Show in 1992, and his first band leader Branford Marsalis.
