Eloise is a homeless woman in Springfield.
History[edit]
Lisa was impressed by the emotional depth of a letter written by Moe and decides to write a report about him. Along with her father and Moe, the three go to Regent Hotel where Moe lives. Homer is surprised by the fact that he lives in a hotel and says "Just like Eloise", to which the homeless woman responds.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Homer was referring to the Eloise children's books about a mischievous six-year-old girl named Eloise who lives at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Eloise is wearing a red bow on the top of her head. The original illustrations by Hilary Knight for the Eloise books were in white and black with an exception for Eloise's red bow.
