Sonic the Hedgehog is a video game character created by Sega, who is the star of the Sonic the Hedgehog series of games.

History

Sonic was one of the video game characters who convinced Bart to steal a Bonestorm video game from a local Try-N-Save.[1]

He then appeared on a billboard that read "Sonic the Hedgehog says: Wait until marriage," and showed a picture of Sonic giving a ring to Amy Rose.[2]

An elderly parody of Sonic appears alongside many other video game parodies in "Enter the Cheatrix" and later as an enemy sent at the Simpsons by God.[3]

The real Sonic the Hedgehog, or at least an official Lego minifigure representation of him, interracts with the Simpsons and their world (and vice versa) in the Lego Multiverse. Sonic mistakes Homer for his nemesis Dr. Eggman in a bad disguise, and can be heard reminding Bart to "just take it!" if he sees a golden brick lying around. [4]
