Helen Lovejoy, voiced by Maggie Roswell is Reverend Timothy Lovejoy’s judgmental, moralistic, and gossipy wife and the mother of the Jessica Lovejoy.
Gossip
She introduced herself in the episode "Life on the Fast Lane" as "the gossipy wife of the minister." (Timothy Lovejoy does not support his wife’s gossipy habit, at one point saying "Oh Helen, call off your dogs.") Helen’s catchphrase, delivered at oddly inappropriate times and situations (or crises) is, "Will someone please think of the children?"
