Evelyn Trunch is an art teacher at Springfield Elementary School. She is very supportive and encouraging to the students, much to the dismay of Bart Simpson. In What to Expect When Bart's Expecting, Bart tries to use voodoo to make her sick, specifically a stomach ache, and miss class. Shortly after, she announces that she is pregnant, which leads people to believe that Bart has the ability to aid couples trying to conceive children.[1]
