Character Information
|
Roofi is a singer and songwriter who creates music that appeals to very young children, including Maggie. Marge also likes Roofi's music, but Bart and Lisa find it extremely annoying and go to great lengths to avoid it, turn it off, or (at the very least) hear it as little as possible.
Some of Roofi's songs are "I Like Ice Cream," "One, Two, Tie Your Shoe," "Helpful Bear on the 28th Floor," "Tickets, Tickets," and a "Nonsense Song." Marge takes Maggie to see Roofi in concert, where they learn that the concert was vastly oversold. Unsupervised babies are everywhere, and when it starts raining, a Woodstock-like disaster is the result. When the babies all start crying, Roofi abruptly ends the concert, parodying one of his own songs by saying, "Show's over. Five, six, so long hicks."
Behind the Laughter
- Roofi is a parody of the children's singer Raffi Cavoukian.
