History
When a secret stash of money that was being kept for Lisa's college fund went missing, Dateline: Springfield investigated the crime, with the narrator narrating the episode. He woke up at home and prepared himself for the episode's recording before heading to the studio. During the episode, the narrator interviewed each of the members of the family, thinking that one of them could have committed the crime, despite Marge's protests that they are good people and didn't do it.
Eventually, after finding no evidence that any of the family members could have done it, the narrator and the rest of the crew left. Back in the recording studio, the narrator read that the crime was still unsolved. He then complained about this to Bob, a producer for the show, that not solving the crime changed the format of the show. When the narrator was ranting, he snapped his right vocal chord. The narrator went in for chord transplant but they only had the vocal chord of a sheep to replace it with.
