Susie Smith is an English musician.

History

In order to beat Ray Patterson and get the position of Sanitation Commissioner, Homer interrupted a U2 concert being held in Springfield to give a speech and gain popularity. To get on the stage, Homer fooled U2 manager Paul McGuinness and a bodyguard at a backstage door. He then kicked Susie Smith out of a control console to manipulate the concert stage screen.

Behind the Laughter

When kicking Susie, Homer said "Take a hike, Kojak", making a reference to her resemblance to the character Kojak from the series of the same name.
