The Larry Davis Experience is a band that appears to never have made it big and appears at parties and get togethers in Springfield.
The band has appeared under several names:
- The Larry Davis Experience
- Performed at the Ye Olde Off Ramp Inn dance room in "Some Enchanted Evening".
- In "Bart Gets Famous", a silver record can be seen hanging.
- In "A Milhouse Divided", the band plays at Homer and Marge's second wedding. They are joined by one of The Doobie Brothers. Three of the band members have speaking parts, voiced by Harry Shearer, Dan Castellaneta and Hank Azaria.
- The Larry Davis Band
- Played at Homer and Marge's prom in "The Way We Was", dressed as Elton John. They played "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", "(They long to be) Close to You", and "Colour My World".
- The Larry Davis Dance Kings
- Performed at the Springfield Community Center in "Old Money". They played played "Embraceable You" and others. In the episode, they added a brass section in order to play Big Band Era material
- The Larry Davis iPod Experience
- Performed at Bart and Lisa's prom in "Future-Drama". The band was replaced by a single iPod.
