Sherri and Terri (voiced by Russi Taylor) are the bane of Bart's existence. These identical twins have purple hair and pallid gray skin. These girls are probably based on the creepy twins from Stanley Kubrick's movie version of Stephen King's classic horror story The Shining, and have been featured as such in several episodes.
