Serpent was a crimal that killed Bartman's parents in the story of Bartman Begins, told by Bart Simpson.
Biography
He shot both of Bartman's parents after they visited Gotham City Opera House. Bartman then decided to become a superhero, and began to avenge the evil in pursuit of the man who killed his parents. The only thing Bartman knew about the man who killed his parents was that he had a tattoo of a snake. Since Serpent normally has a disguise, Bartman did not know that it was him who killed his parents. When he is from a blimp thanked Bartman to stop his competitors, promised Bartman that he get him next, later when Serpent robbed the Gotham Natural History Museum, Bartman succeeds in arresting and unmasking him. Bartman realized that it was Serpent who killed his parents, and he became enraged and killed him.
