History
The Blinky species is seen quite often in natural bodies of water in Springfield, and is a product of the nuclear waste of Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Blinky's most famous appearance was in "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish one is caught by Bart and a picture is snapped of it by Dave Shutton and put in The Springfield Shopper.
