Character Information
|
Ricardo Bomba (nicknamed "La Bomba"), is a smooth-talking ladies’ man from South America with a luxurious black mane, a chiseled physique and a voice as smooth as silk. By day, Ricardo works as a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, and by night, he works Springfield's singles scene – melting women’s hearts all over town.
Behind the Laughter
Ricardo Bomba made his small-screen debut in the episode "Million Dollar Maybe" airing Sunday, Jan. 31 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the episode, Ricardo crashes his car into a mountain side right before completing the saying of his catchphrase. Also, at the end credits, he tried to say his catchphrase, but got shushed by the Gracie Films signature 'shush' lady. The character had been created by a fan in honor of the show's twentieth anniversary.
