Chuck Garabedian once held a Mega-Savings Seminar in Springfield that the Simpsons attended.

History

Chuck Garabedian hosted the Mega-Savings Seminar, an event Marge and Homer went to looking for advice on how to manage their money. Garabedian gave the audience "12 savings secrets Wall Street won't tell you", the first one being "squeeze every penny". By using these secrets, he claimed to obtain expensive stuff for a very small amount of money. Among this stuff was a tuxedo used by Roy Cohn at the moment he died, a fancy yacht that smelled like cat pee and beautiful women who used to be men.[1]
