History[edit]
Lisa told Bart that Angry Dad: The Movie was not all bad and he should cut out the parts that didn't work, so it could be a great short film. She then explained that many directors, such as Wes Anderson, Frank Tashlin and Tim Burton, started out with short films. Bart then asked if she could name someone else, so she said Taylor Hackford. Bart didn't know who he was, but was convinced to do it.[1]
Terrence compared Ned to a father from one of Anderson's movies.[2]
