Arnold Horshack is a character from the TV show Welcome, Back Kotter and one of the Sweathogs.
History
After Selma visited the Springfield Sperm Bank, she brought home a copy of its catalog of donors, titled 101 Frozen Pops. When Marge read the catalog, she was impressed that the donors included a Nobel Prize winner, an NBA All-Star, and, particularly, one of the Sweathogs. She was disappointed, however, when Selma told her she had checked and learned that the Sweathog in the catalog wasn't Horshack.
Behind the Laughter
- Welcome Back, Kotter aired in the 1970s and the plotline revolved around high school teacher Gabe Kotter working with a group of underachieving students, collectively nicknamed the "Sweathogs". Horshack was the class clown of the group.
- Evidently, Marge and Selma are fans of the show and of Horshack in particular.
