The tourist is a woman who was on a tour bus.

History[edit]

While Homer was driving Red Barclay's semi truck to Atlanta, he learned that the Navitron Autodrive System in the trucks allowed the vehicles to drive themselves. He showed off the system to Bart by climbing out onto the truck's hood while it was driving. Bart followed Homer, and the two were passed by a tour bus. One of the women on the bus looked out and called out to the others on the bus saying, "Look, nobody's driving!" The astounded passengers were then reassured by Homer that everything would be fine because the truck can drive itself. He then told the people not to tell anyone, at which point the bus drove off.
