Jean-Pierre Petomane is a television sports commentator.

History

Petomane, along with Wayne Buckhorn and Don Jacques LaLonde, provided commentary for a televised ice hockey game between the Springfield Ice-O-Topes and the Utica Mohogs. Homer tuned in just after the game ended and wanted to know the score, but none of the commentators would say it.

Behind the Laughter

From his dress and manner of speaking, Petomane is an obvious caricature of Canadian ice hockey commentator Don Cherry.
