The unnamed banker is a fictional man who worked at a bank.
History
When Brenda's husband Roger died, she went to see the banker. He told Brenda that her husband did not have life insurance, and she was left with all of Roger's debts and no way to pay them off. When Brenda asked how she would feed her family, the banker told her that she should've thought about that before having children with a dead man.
