Michael Jackson was a famous american musician. In Stark Raving Dad showed Bart up one of his album for Leon Kompowsky. In the episode Bart Sells His Soul, Bart is famously quoted as saying "[souls are] just something they made up to scare kids, like the Boogeyman or Michael Jackson".

The character is tend to occur in the Springfield Squidport along with dolls, which was showing in The Great Money Caper. In his territory was Bart one time and makes some tricks and was thrown. Michael Jackson feel sad for him and gave him later a few currency.
