History[edit]
Lisa tries to bring her science experiment Linguo to school, but misses the bus. Lisa's bike is missing and Marge has to take Homer to the hospital after his thumb is cut off. Lisa asks Krusty the Clown for a ride to school, however, Mr. Teeny drives Lisa to West Springfield Elementary School instead. There, Lisa realizes she is in the wrong school and she meets Thelonious. Lisa quickly falls in love with him when they claim that they have no friends and the two dance until Lisa has to get going.[1]
In spite of not being able to have an ongoing friendship with Thelonious, Lisa still sees him as a kindred spirit, identifying him as "The Doppelganger" in her list of The 20 Types of People You Meet in Elementary School.[2]
